24 hour urine collection in acidified container.

Please avoid the following for the 24 hours of the collection: vigorous exercise, excess nicotine (smoking, nicotine patches, electronic cigarettes), coffee, large doses of vitamin C, curry leaves and chili pepper (capsaicin). Click here for printable list.

Medications can also affect the results.  Please list any medications on the request form.

Random urine for paediatrics - take to lab immediately for acidification).

Note that a single 24h collection is required; there is no need to do 3x 24h collections.
